The Roster

A roster. 

That’s what the girl at the bar said I needed. 

We were at The Boca Raton’s Lakefront Lounge, Palm Court, one fine day this past summer when her date stepped away to go to the restroom. We started a quick chat and landed on a discussion about single life. I explained how I wasn’t planning on venturing into the online dating world. 

“But you need a roster,” she exclaimed. 

I laughed then and do now just thinking about it. 

While I can’t say I have an official roster regarding men to date, I do have a roster I’m extremely proud of….

What I like to call my gameday team. 

The village I call on to primp and prepare me for events I emcee and moderate, talent and commercial work and outings of all kinds, both personally and professionally. 

All ladies should have this kind of roster - talented experts we know and love to call and visit when we need a lift, on the inside and out. 

That’s one of the main reasons why an executive team and I developed BeautyBoca 2023, a daylong celebration and showcase of the very best of Boca Raton in beauty, style, fashion and wellness. It’s not just promoting beauty thanks to makeup, hair, brows, lashes, clothing, jewels and photos.
